Its like recognising Ed Greenwood. I would have laughed my ass off. Thornton was the machiavelli of warhammer back in the glory days, insane tactical skills. I felt the urge to run over and say, "Hi!!!! Love your work", but even then he had an interesting dress sense, and I thought an excited 19 year old charging across a room with a handfull of dodgily painted Warhammer figures might worry him somewhat, so I just shared that all powerful acknowledging nod with him.
